At Hair Loving, women’s health has always been at the heart of everything that we do. From supporting hair changes through postpartum recovery to sifting though the hormonal shifts of perimenopause and menopause, we believe that self-care is everything.
This month, to highlight Breast Cancer Awareness, we’re proud to announce that 2% of all accessory sales will be donated to Prevent Breast Cancer the UK’s only charity dedicated to predicting and preventing breast cancer before it starts.
This small contribution to the charity means that every derma roller, hair brush, or anti static wide tooth comb that you buy doesn’t just care for your hair, it helps fund life-saving research and awareness for women.

We’ve teamed up with Prevent Breast Cancer through the Buy Women Built community, a phenomenal movement celebrating and supporting female-founded businesses that empower and uplift women. Together, we’re amplifying awareness, creating change, and encouraging every woman to prioritise her wellbeing.
How to Check for Breast Cancer
Early detection saves lives. Here’s a simple guide to checking your breasts regularly — it only takes a few minutes and could make all the difference:

Look, Stand in front of a mirror with your shoulders straight and arms on your hips. Check for changes in shape, swelling, dimpling, or skin texture.

Raise your arms, Look for the same changes with your arms lifted.

Check for discharge, Notice if there’s any fluid coming from one or both nipples.

Feel while standing or sitting, Use the pads of your fingers in small circular motions, covering the entire breast from top to bottom and side to side.

Lie down and feel, This helps spread the breast tissue evenly, making it easier to feel for lumps or thickened areas.

Know what’s normal for you, Every woman’s body is different; the key is noticing any new changes.
